I am very excited to serve as the new Scoutmaster and I want to have a memorable year for our troop. It's a shame that Scouting and The Church will be parting ways effective December 31st 2019. I have heard others in our Stake plan on maintaining a troop during their own free time after the program changes in 2020.
There's really no reason to end the Scouting program prematurely! We have 8 months to serve, learn, grow, and go on camping adventures! I love scouting and I still remember all the good times and experiences I had as a Scout in the 90's. Boy, I can tell you some stories around the camp fire! Let's make the last 8 months really count and make some memories that you will tell your future kids!
